A couple friends and a carry on

A little charge for the batteries

A little spark because this year has been more bad than good

The way you cried had me hopeful at first but I’m not expecting you in this weekend music
I know you’re thinking about it
You love the color but you hate the room
The way it’s steeped in sadness really messes with the mood
All at once let’s panic
Let’s all really see what we can do
And cut through the static
It’s all more bad than good
The love, the kiss, the turn, the cry, the hesitance to really say goodbye
You burned it all in front of me
As I give in and integrate I hesitate to say the right thing back
And this is how it came to me
This weekend music gets me so down today
