Psalm 46

1    GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2    Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains
        be carried into the midst of the sea;

3    Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with
        the swelling thereof.  Selah.

4    There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of
the tabernacles of the most High.

5    God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:  God shall help her, and that right early.

6    The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved:  he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7    The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah.

8    Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9    He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth
the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire,

10    Be still, and know that I am God:  I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11    The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah.

Romans 8

1    THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2    For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3    For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son
in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4    For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh:  but they that are after the Spirit,
       the things of the Spirit.

5    For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7    Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God,
       neither indeed can be.

8    So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9    But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10    And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11    But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you.

12    Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13    For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of body, ye shall live.

14    For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15    For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit
of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16    The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17    And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer
with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18    For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the
glory which shall be revealed in us.

19    For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20    For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath
        subjected the same in hope.

21    Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption
into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22    For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23    And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves
groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24    For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for?

25    But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26    Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as
we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27    And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28    And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to his purpose.

29    For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30    Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:  and whom he called, them he also
justified:  and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31    What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?

32    He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him
        freely give us all things?

33    Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?  It is God that justifieth.

34    Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again who is even
at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35    Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36    As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep
        for the slaughter.

37    Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38    For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39    Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love
of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

        Romans 8 - KJV

Mark 12:1-11

1    AND he began to speak unto them by parables.  A certain man planted a vineyard,
and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and
let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

2    And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from
the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

3    And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

4    And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded
him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

5    And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and
       killing some.

6    Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying,
       They will reverence my son.

7    But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him,
and the inheritance shall be ours.

8    And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

9    What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do?  he will come and destroy the husbandmen,
and will give the vineyard unto others.

10    And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the
       head of the corner:

11    This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Fall Out Boy - Thnks fr th Mmrs

Fall Out Boy - Thnks fr th Mmrs

 [Verse 1]
I'm gonna make it bend and break
(It sent you to me without wings...) Say a prayer, but let the good times roll
In case God doesn't show
(Let the good times roll, let the good times roll...)
And I want these words to make things right
But it's the wrongs that make the words come to life
"Who does he think he is?" If that's the worst you've got
Better put your fingers back to the keys...

[Chorus]
One night and one more time
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so
Great, "He tastes like you, only sweeter"
One night, yeah, and one more time
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"See, he tastes like you, only sweeter"

[Verse 2]
Been looking forward to the future
But my eyesight is going bad
And this crystal ball...
It's always cloudy except for (Except for...)
When you look into the past (Look into the past...)
One night stand...
One night stand off!

[Chorus]
One night and one more time
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so
Great, "He tastes like you, only sweeter"
One night, yeah, and one more time
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"See, he tastes like you, only sweeter," oh-oh

[Bridge]
They say I only think in the form of crunching numbers
In hotel rooms, collecting page six lovers
Get me out of my mind and get you out of those clothes
I'm a liner away from getting you into the mood, woah

[Chorus]
One night and one more time
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so
Great, "He tastes like you, only sweeter"
One night and one more time
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"See, he tastes like you, only sweeter," oh-oh-oh-oh
One night and one more time (One more night, one more time)
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so
Great, "He tastes like you, only sweeter," oh-oh-oh
One night and one more time (One more night, one more time)
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
(For the memories) "See, he tastes like you, only sweeter," oh-oh-oh-oh

Song of Solomon chapter 3

1    BY night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth:  I sought him, but I found him not.

2    I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him
whom my soul loveth:  I sought him, but I found him not.

3    The watchmen that go about the city found me:  to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?

4    It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth:  I held him, and
would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber
       of her that conceived me.

5    I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye
stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

6    Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and
frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

7    Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.

8    They all hold swords, being expert in war:  every man hath his sword upon his thigh because
       of fear in the night.

9    King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.

10    He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple,
the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

11    Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother
crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

All American Rejects - Easy Come, Easy Go

All American Rejects - Easy Come, Easy Go

I cut you out, don't be so typical
Putting my tap shoes on like eggshells when I dance around you
So work it out, why be so difficult?
I'm pouring salt around the cemetery, licking my wounds

Like it's too late to fight on
Spitting on the shoulder that you used to cry on
So dry your eyes, don't make it cyclical
It goes around, goes around, goes around, yeah

You only love me when I'm out of control
Easy come, easy go
You only love me when I'm out on the road
Easy come, easy go

And if I found you down in the river below
Beneath the cliff's head, out in the shallows
The water so blue, that it was red as a rose
My pot of gold, you were the rainbow

I'll be the violet, you'll be the violence
Screaming your white noise, I sit in silence
So shut your mouth, why be so difficult?
It comes around, goes around, goes around, yeah

You only love me when I'm out of control
Easy come, easy go
You only love me when I'm out on the road
Easy come, easy go

And in the ashes of our love, there came a gift as from above
Can't believe my eyes, and look into the skies and wonder why
Why'd you let me go? Why'd you leave me slow?
Why'd you leave me out to dry myself?
Why do I look into the mirror and still see you?
Why does my face seem to turn black and blue?
With the bruises of our love, thrown away like a dove in the air
And all I have is all I am

You only love me when I'm out of control
Easy come, easy go
You only love me when I'm out on the road
Easy come, easy go

Revelation chapter 19

 1     AND after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia;
Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2    For true and righteous are his judgments:  for he hath judged the great whore, which did
corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3    And again they said, Alleluia.  And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

4    And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat
on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5    And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that
fear him, both small and great.

6    And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters,
and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia:  for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7    Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:  for the marriage of the Lamb is come,
and his wife hath made herself ready.

8    And to her it was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:
for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

9    And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper
of the Lamb.  And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10    And I fell at his feet to worship him.  And he said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the
testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11    And I saw heaven opened, and behold a whte horse; and he that sat upon him was called
Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12    His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name
written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13    And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.

14    And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen,
        white and clean.

15    And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness
        and wrath of Almighty God.

16    And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD
        OF LORDS.

17    And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all
the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the
        supper of the great God;

18    That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men,
and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free
and bond, both small and great.

19    And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make
war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20    And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that
worshipped his image.  These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21    And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword
proceeded out of his mouth:  and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Psalm 22

1    MY God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and the
        words of my roaring?

2    O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3    But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4    Our fathers trusted in thee:  they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5    They cried unto thee, and were delivered:  they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6    But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7    All they that see me laugh me to scorn:  they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8    He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him:  let him deliver him seeing he delighted in him.

9    But thou art he that took me out of the womb:  thou didst make me hope when I was upon my                    mother's breasts.

10    I was cast upon thee from the womb:  thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11    Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12    Many bulls have compassed me:  strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13    They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14    I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax;
it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15    My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast
brought me into the dust of death.

16    For dogs have compassed me:  the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me:  they pierced my
        hands and my feet.

17    I may tell all my bones:  they look and stare upon me.

18    They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19    But be not thou far from me, O LORD:  O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20    Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

21    Save me from the lion's mouth:  for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22    I will declare thy name unto my brethren:  in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23    Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him,
all ye the seed of Israel.

24    For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face
from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25    My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation:  I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26    The meek shall eat and be satisfied:  they shall praise the LORD that seek him:  your heart shall live         for ever.

27    All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:  and all the kindreds of the
        nations shall worship before thee.

28    For the kingdom is the LORD'S:  and he is the governor among the nations.

29    All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:  all they that go down to the dust shall bow
before him:  and none can keep alive his own soul.

30    A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31    They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born,
        that he hath done this.

Psalm 2

1    WHY do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2    The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD
       and against his anointed, saying,

3    Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4    He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh:  the LORD shall have them in derision.

5    Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6    Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7     I will declare the decree:  the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten              thee.

8    Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth
       for thy possession.

9    Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10    Be wise now therefore, O ye kings:  be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11    Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12    Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Paramore - Decode

Paramore - Decode

 [Verse 1]
How can I decide what's right
When you're clouding up my mind?
I can't win your losing fight
All the time
Nor can I ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride

[Pre-Chorus]
No, not this time
Not this time

[Chorus]
How did we get here
When I used to know you so well?
But how did we get here?
Well, I think I know

[Verse 2]
The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue
Just boiling in my blood
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are
If you're a man at all
Well, I will figure this one out

[Pre-Chorus]
On my own (I'm screaming, "I love you so")
On my own (But my thoughts, you can't decode)

[Chorus]
But how did we get here
When I used to know you so well? Yeah
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know

[Bridge]
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools of ourselves
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools of ourselves

[Breakdown]
Yeah, yeah
Hey

[Chorus]
How did we get here
When I used to know you so well? Yeah, yeah, yeah
Well, how did we get here
When I used to know you so well?
[Post-Chorus]
I think I know
I think I know

[Outro]
Ooh, there is something
I see in you
It might kill me
I want it to be true

Job chapter 16

1    THEN Job answered and said,

2    I have heard many such things:  miserable comforters are ye all.

3    Shall vain words have an end?  or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?

4    I also could speak as ye do; if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you,
and shake mine head at you.

5    But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.

6    Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged:  and though I forbear, what am I eased?

7    But now he hath made me weary:  thou hast made desolate all my company.

8    And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me:  and my leaness rising up in me
       beareth witness to my face.

9    He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me:  he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy
       sharpeneth his eyes upon me.

10   They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully;
they have gathered themselves together against me.

11   God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

12   I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder:  he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken
me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.

13    His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he
poureth out my gall upon the ground.

14    He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

15    I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.

16    My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;

17    Not for any injustice in mine hands:  also my prayer is pure.

18    O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.

19    Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.

20    My friends scorn me:  but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.

21    O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!

22    When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.

Proverbs 10:25

As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more:

but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

Alec Benjamin - The Knife In My Back

Alec Benjamin - The Knife In My Back

I am slowly learning that the things you promised me
Are burning like the embers of a thousand willow trees
And every single secret has been broadcast like TV
Now all the threads are severed that were tying you to me
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
Pull your knife out of my back
Your hearts gone black
I was just surprised at how you turned on me so fast
I let you in, I held you close
My blood flows like a river 'cause I trusted you the most
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
I was so naive, I even let you in my home
Took you out for dinner and let you wear my clothes
I can't even breathe, I have your scent still in my nose
It's like I almost miss you, I should have known
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
Pull your knife out of my back
Your hearts gone black
I was just surprised at how you turned on me so fast
I let you in, I held you close
My blood flows like a river 'cause I trusted you the most
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
I thought we were friends, but now we're enemies
Pull your knife out of my back, your blood runs black
I was just surprised at how you turned on me so fast
I let you in, I held you close
My blood flows like a river 'cause I trusted you the most
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)
And now I know it's over (woo-ooh ooooh)

Coldplay - We Pray

 Coldplay - We Pray

  (Whoa!)
And so We Pray

I pray that I don’t give up
Pray that I do my best
Pray that I can lift up
Pray my brother is blessed
Praying for enough
Pray Virgilio wins
Pray I-I-I
Judge nobody and forgive me my sins
I pray we make it
Pray my friend will pull through
Pray as I take it
Unto others I do
Praying on your love
We pray with every breath
Though I-I–I’m in the valley of the shadow of death

And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
Pray that we make it to the end of the day
And so We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting
And so We Pray
I know somewhere there’s something amazing
And so We Pray
I know somewhere we’ll feel no pain
Until we make it to the end of the day

I pray the love will
Shelter us from our fears
Oh I pray you trust to
Let me wipe off your tears
Confront all the pain that we felt inside
With all the cards we've been dealt in life
Pray I-I-I speak my truth and keep my sisters alive
So for the ones who parted seas
For the ones who’s following dreams
For the ones who knocked down doors
And allowed us to pass down keys
Pray that we speak with a tongue that is honest
And that we understand how to be modest
Pray when she looks at herself in the mirror
She sees a queen
She sees a goddess

And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
Pray that we make it to the end of the day
And so We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting
And so We Pray
I know somewhere there’s something amazing
And so We Pray
I know somewhere we’ll feel no pain
Until we make it to the end of the day

On my knees
I pray
As I sleep and wake
Cause inside my head is a frightening place
Keep a smiling face
Only by His grace
Cause love’s more than I can take

And so We Pray
For someone to come and show me the way
And so We Pray
For some shelter and some records to play
And so We Pray
We’ll be singing Baraye
‘til nobody’s in need
And everybody can say

La la la la la la la (la la)
La la la la la la la (la la la la)
La la la la la la la (sing it to me)
La la la la la
We Pray We Pray
I know somewhere that heaven is waiting (is waiting)
I know somewhere there’s something amazing (something amazing)
Until we feel no pain
We Pray
We Pray
We Pray

Papa Roach - Scars

 Papa Roach - Scars

I tear my heart open
I sew myself shut
My weakness is
That I care too much
And my scars remind me
That the past is real
I tear my heart open
Just to feel

Drunk and I'm feeling down
And I just want to be alone
I'm pissed 'cause you came around
Why don't you just go home?
'Cause you channel all your pain
And I can't help you fix yourself
You're making me insane
All I can say is

I tear my heart open
I sew myself shut
And my weakness is
That I care too much
And our scars remind us
That the past is real
I tear my heart open
Just to feel

I tried to help you once
Against my own advice
I saw you going down
But you never realized
That you're drowning in the water
So I offered you my hand
Compassion's in my nature
Tonight is our last stand

I tear my heart open
I sew myself shut
And my weakness is
That I care too much
And our scars remind us
That the past is real
I tear my heart open
Just to feel

I'm drunk and I'm feeling down
And I just want to be alone
You shouldn't ever come around
Why don't you just go home?
'Cause you're drowning in the water
And I tried to grab your hand
I left my heart open
But you didn't understand
But you didn't understand
You fix yourself

I can't help you fix yourself
But at least I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life
I can't help you fix yourself
But at least I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life

I tear my heart open
I sew myself shut
And my weakness is
That I care too much
And our scars remind us
That the past is real
I tear my heart open
Just to feel

I tear my heart open
I sew myself shut
And my weakness is
That I care too much
And our scars remind us
That the past is real
I tear my heart open
Just to feel

Twenty One Pilots- The Contract

Twenty One Pilots - The Contract

I check the doors, check the windows, and pull the blinds,
I check the clock, wondering what he’ll pull this time,
I have a feeling that necromancer’s outside,
And I’m just trying to stay quiet.

I don’t sleep much, that's crazy, how’d you know that?
Keep myself up, that's maybe how you know that,
Promises and contracts I used to keep,
I don’t sleep much, that's crazy, how’d you know that?
Keep myself up, that’s maybe how you know that,
My hallucination I used to see.

Wake up and I find out, did a change up,
Wait — Did it change up?
Is it light out yet?
Better find out. Bet,
Imma walk around the edge of the room,
And the bed where I hide my face,
Pace around,
Better try to breathe,
Pace around, Pace around.

(Sleep I found)
I wanna get out there,
But I don’t try,
I wanna get out there,
But I don’t try.

I used to see,
It felt so real,
But now I plead,
Just take the deal,
I promised you,
A contract.

Psalm 31

1   IN thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed:  deliver me in thy righteousness.

2   Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily:  be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me.

3   For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

4   Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me:  for thou art my strength.

5   Into thine hand I commit my spirit:  thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

6   I have hated them that regard lying vanities:  but I trust in the LORD.

 7   I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy:  for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

8   And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy:  thou hast set my feet in a large room.

9   Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble:  mine eye is consumed with grief, yea my soul and my belly.

10  For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing:  my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

11  I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine  acquaintance:  they that did see me without fled from me.

12  I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind:  I am like a broken vessel.

13  For I have heard the slander of many:  fear was on every side:  while they took counsel together  against me, they devised to take away my life.

14  But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.

15  My times are in thy hand:  deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

16  Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:  save me for thy mercies' sake.

17  Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee:  let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

18  Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

19   Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

20  Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man:  thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

21  Blessed be the LORD:  for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

22  For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes:  nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

23  O love the LORD, all ye his saints:  for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24  Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
